Welcome to the
Online Citation Guide!
This page is designed to help you cite information
properly when writing research papers. Click on any of the
citation styles above to find step-by-step instructions for preparing
works cited pages and in-text citations (parenthetical, footnotes,
and endnotes). Be sure to check with your instructor to see
that you are using the proper citation style. You can return
to this welcome screen at any time by clicking on the "Online
Citation Guide" logo in the menu bar.
This guide covers citation of resources on the World
Wide Web.
The OCG is best used online. While you can print
pages of the guide and use them effectively to help you cite resources,
it is easier to use the guide online because of the many hyperlinks
involved. On many of the citation format pages, specific formatting
cases are mentioned and an example is linked directly following
the formatting conventions.
This page was created in Summer 2000 for the L.A.
Beeghly Library and Juniata's Information Access Course (IT 100).
