Module 5 - Evaluating Information and the Research Process

**Assignment Included**

Module 5 includes important information on the Seven Steps of the Research Process. Without any kind of thought process or deliberation during research, it is difficult to cover a topic thoroughly and find sources that support your ideas.

All of the information you have learned in the previous modules fit within the framework of the Seven Steps of the Research Process. In most cases, it is crucial to go through the research process step by step.

In addition, we will briefly introduce some important ideas regarding Web searching (a step of the process), and then we will discuss evaluating resources, which is one of the most important parts of the research process.   Any research requires stringent evaluation of sources and the information they contain.

***Module 5 will also give you specific information for the associated library assignment.
